Wise Men

So wise men....i am learning so much about wise men....a new thought of their dedication to the savior...think about it....i mean....when they saw the light (star) they didn't just say...boy that is such an amazing gift we are given..i will just wait for it to come to me and bless me....absolutely not..they said....A savior is born...we will GO to him ...we will search him out....we will SEEK him...the sought for him three years...when was the last time you searched for something for three years..or let alone a year. When i was young..i learned to lean on the promise that if i seek him then i will find him...if i seek him with my whole heart......the king james version says " He is a rewarder of them that DILIGENTLY seek him." Diligently...what a great word. Be hungry in your quest, be relentless in your pligrimage. let this hour be one of hundereds that we seek him...The wise men weren't just satisfied with angels...the weren't content with stars in the sky..neither should we..we should be like simeon...who longed to see him before he died...do like john and andrew did...ask for where he lives and go and find...imitate zacchaeus...risk your life to see Christ move. God rewards those that seek him..not those that seek doctorine, religion, or systems or creeds...don't settle for these lesser passions...WHAT WILL BE YOUR REWARD....HE IS ....what greater gift is there than that....NOTHING....i am sure thousands saw the star that night....think about how packed that city was...but only a few really sought him out....the ration between those that sought him and those that missed him is thousands to one....but the ratio between those that sought him and those that found him is ONE TO ONE!!!! Pretty good odds...All who sought him Found Him
all i can say from all my ramblings...is to BE A SEEKER!!!!!
use the example of the wise me to remind you that we need to seek him out and truly discover who he is...this man that Hung on a limb for us to have life....Go out on a limb for him...he already has for you...i pray my thoughts stir hearts for the Glory of God...
