SUNDAYS

Well it is Sunday again and if you have ever held a job in ministry or had a close family member in it you will most certainly understand what i am talking about...Every day of the week is hard enough when you work a full time job and have a baby at home. Not to mention all the going and comings you do during the week. But Sundays are sometimes the hardest. I mean you jump up and feed yoru family breakfast...rush and try to get to church on time then go eat and maybe get a quick nap and then run to chior practice and back to church...next will come the weekly bible classes then maybe home just in time to get the little ones down for bed. In all of that sometimes we forget the real purpose of it. I mean THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE DAY OF WHAT? OH YEA REST!!! but it more often then not doesn't work that way. My husband and i seem to have more differences on this day than any other day of the week. But you know i think i have finally figured it out. I have realized that satan works really hard to keep you from having rest and peace all the time but most of all on Sunday...he knows that anytime he can make you feel frustrated and get you upset then he has suceeded in causing you to unfocus on God and become the selfish being we are. SO that being said...my challange to you and me and my family is that on all days and most importantly on SUNDAY we remember who the day is meant for. Our soul purpose on this earth is to Glorify our God and to bring honor to his name. Remember he will be glorified in all, things at all times, in all ways!
